Beta-reading: ¢ 0.1 per word

Having friends read your book before it its published to get their opinion is important. You cannot have enough beta-readers. Beta-reading helps you get an impression of your book from a reader's perspective. As a beta-reader We give you feedback on the reading flow and experience and the plot, using our knowledge from our time at a publishing house.

Beta-reading is not the same as copy editing.
Example: 25,000 words x 0.001 = $25

Copy Editing: ¢ 0.6 per word

Copy editing includes reading each sentence carefully, seeking to fix all errors of spelling, punctuation, capitalization, grammar, and word usage while preserving your meaning and voice. That suggesting alternative wordings or phrasings. This includes proofreading.
Example: 25,000 words x 0.005 = $150

Content Editing: ¢ 0.5 per word

A content editor additionally helps you smooth out your story, your storytelling and helps with background information and contingency problems. As your copy editor, We will suggest changes or provide you with additional information regarding your book, using our knowledge from our time at a publishing house. Let's make the best of your book, together. This does not include proofreading.
Example: 25,000 words x 0.005 = $125

Proofreading: ¢ 0.3 per word

Proofreading includes correcting any misspelling and grammar errors in a manuscript. It's the basic work of an editor only making sure that there are no basic errors. This does not include copy editing.
Example: 25,000 words x 0.003 = $75

Reworking: ¢ 5 per word

You have a story written, but you feel like you need a professional so that your final version of the books is readable. Reworking your story means taking your draft and create a finished manuscript.
